The task of taking the Good News of Jesus to the distant regions of earth is the duty of every church and believer. Columbus Bible is seeking to fulfill this duty through a number of efforts. Locally we seek to engage with the community through benevolence, Awana clubs, home bible studies and more. Internationally we work to fulfill the global mission through supporting (insert number) missionaries across (insert number) different countries. Our support and communication go directly to our missionaries. We often have them home in our services to present new ministries and to report on the blessings they are receiving on the field. We also invite guest missionaries to present their burdens on Sunday Worship services.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. - Acts 1:8
Following the pattern set in Acts 1:8, we follow a three-year mission trip cycle.
These trips are wonderful experiences as they give our people a broader worldview as they have opportunity to serve, learn, and help spread the gospel abroad. We look forward to future opportunities to serve the Lord on many more mission trips!
